Find out which loan actually costs less — and why.
Five full loan calculators, separate calculations for 18 real US banks, and a one-click comparison that ranks every lender by true total cost — payments plus fees, not just the headline rate.
Start with a calculator
Lowest published starting APRs — October 2026
The cheapest starting rate in our database for each loan type. Your rate depends on credit, amount, term and lender underwriting.
Loan calculators
Pick a loan type, then either type your own rate or pick a bank — the calculator fills in that bank's published rate and calculates separately for it.
Results update automatically as you type, too.
Balance over time
Every bank, calculated separately
Enter your amount, term and credit score once. Each bank below is calculated on its own published rate, so you can see exactly what that bank would cost you.
Compare offers you already received
Got quotes from two or three banks? Type them in — nothing is uploaded or sent anywhere — and see which one really costs less after fees.
Bank directory
real US banks and lenders with their published loan products for October 2026. Tap “Calculate” on any product to open it in the calculator.
Average US loan rates, 2021–2026
Yearly averages for published consumer rates. Useful context: the cheapest era in decades ended in 2022, and rates have stayed in the 6–7% mortgage range since.
Averages compiled from public rate surveys (Freddie Mac PMMS and Federal Reserve consumer credit releases). For current lender-specific rates, see the Bank Directory.

Borrowing, explained plainly

About this hub
The USA Loan Calculator & Financial Comparison Hub exists for one reason: loan ads compete on the smallest monthly payment or the lowest headline rate, but what matters is the total cost of borrowing. This site calculates that number honestly for every product it lists.
How it works
All calculations run in your browser — no account, no uploads, no lender APIs. The bank database is maintained by hand from lenders' published rate pages, and every figure is labeled with the month it was checked (October 2026). Results clearly distinguish published starting rates from personalized offers, which only the lender can give you.
What you can do here
Run five full calculators (mortgage with taxes, insurance and PMI; auto; personal; student; business), calculate the same loan separately at 18 named banks, use the Premium one-click comparison to rank every qualifying bank at once, and compare quotes you have already received side by side.
What this site is not
It is not a lender, broker, or bank, and it does not take loan applications or collect your financial information. When you are ready to apply, you go directly to the lender.

Educational tool, not financial advice
The calculators and comparisons on this site are educational estimates. They are not financial, tax, or legal advice, and they are not an offer, quote, or pre-approval from any lender. Only a lender can give you a binding rate after a full application and credit review.
Accuracy
Rates are collected manually from public lender pages and checked monthly. Lenders change rates without notice, so a figure here may differ from the lender's live page on the day you visit. Always confirm the APR, fees, and terms on the lender's own site before applying. Bank names and trademarks belong to their owners; listing a bank here does not imply endorsement by or of that bank.
Calculations
Monthly payments assume fixed rates, monthly compounding, no prepayments unless you enter an extra payment, and on-time payments. Mortgage estimates include the taxes, insurance, PMI and HOA figures you enter; defaults are national averages and will differ by property and state.
Privacy Policy
The short version: this site collects nothing.
All calculators and comparisons run entirely in your browser. Numbers you type — loan amounts, credit scores, offers you compare — never leave your device, are never uploaded, and are gone when you close the tab.
What is stored
Nothing about you. The site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. If the site owner later adds analytics or affiliate links, this policy will be updated first and the change noted here.
External links
Links to banks take you to those banks' own websites, which have their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for their content or practices.
Contact
If you email us via the Contact page, your message lives only in that email. We use it only to reply.
Terms of Use
By using this site you accept these terms.
The service
This site provides free loan calculators, a directory of published lender rates, and comparison tools for educational purposes. It is not a lender, mortgage broker, or financial adviser, and using it does not create any client or advisory relationship.
No guarantee of rates or approval
Displayed rates are published starting rates for the month stated and may not be available to you. Approval, APR, fees and terms are decided solely by the lender. We are not responsible for decisions you make based on estimates here; verify all figures with the lender before signing anything.
Acceptable use
You may use the calculators freely for personal or classroom use. Do not scrape the rate database in bulk, misrepresent the figures as live or personalized offers, or remove the rate-month labeling when republishing data from this site.
Changes
Rates, products, and these terms may change at any time; the rate month shown across the site tells you how current the database is.
Edit rates & blog — no code needed
This page is your admin panel for the static site. It is not linked anywhere on the public site — you reach it only by adding #/owner to the site address. Change a rate, the disclaimer month, or publish a blog post, then press Download updated index.html and replace the file on Cloudflare. Your edits are baked into the downloaded code — that file is your saved version.

Save your changes as code
Publishing on Cloudflare Pages: download the updated file, then drag it into your Pages project (or replace index.html in your Git repo). “Copy full code” does the same via clipboard. You can also export just the data as JSON to move edits between computers, and import it back here. Download the _headers file once and upload it next to index.html — it switches on Cloudflare's security headers (clickjacking protection, no-sniff, referrer policy, HSTS).
